Nate Gautsche, commercial broker in CRER’s downtown office, recently represented a Burger King franchisee in a long term lease of 3,363 SF at 7 E Garfield Blvd, Chicago. Formerly occupied by KFC, this rarely available existing drive-thru was not on the market. Nate was able to track down the out of state owner and negotiate a successful lease for his client. This location presented an excellent opportunity for Burger King to locate in a market coverage gap near the Dan Ryan Expressway and main competitors in a cost effective, second generation space.
