Sean Mason with CRER represented the buyer, Mavrek Development, Inc., and the seller, a local investor group, in the sale of 4501 N. Sheridan, Chicago, IL 60640, which closed for $2,650,000.  The former retail strip will be re-developed by Mavrek into a 59-unit luxury apartment complex with 36 parking spaces and 7,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor at Sheridan Road and Sunnyside Avenue.

Forty-Five 01 is a Class A multi-family development project located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The building design includes high-end amenities including a fitness center, outdoor terraces, and co-working lounge.”

This is Sean’s 2nd acquisition representing Mavrek. They previously acquired the former Byline Bank site at 3154 N Southport, Chicago, IL 60657 and recently delivered a 13-unit luxury condo building.

A third location in which Sean is representing Mavrek, received City Council approval for a 48-unit luxury apartment building on the Zia’s Lago Vista Restaurant site at 3817 N. Ashland. That deal is expected to close this summer.

Adam Friedberg, Partner at Mavrek Development said,

“Completing a real estate transaction is never as simple as a walk in the park. What is most important is having a knowledgeable and pro-active broker partner that can remedy an issue and come up with an actionable solution to keep the deal moving forward. Sean Mason and CRER know how to get deals done. They work with buyer and seller in a fair and equitable way to get the deal over the finish line. Sean’s willingness to get his hands dirty, go the extra mile and provide helpful information is what sets him apart from other brokers in the market. I would recommend Sean and CRER to anyone who is looking for a true broker partner.”

If you have any questions, or if Sean can be a resource to you in any way, please reach out, and we can set up a time to talk.
